The HSE strongly recommends a refresher session  every year between the main three-yearly first aid courses to maintain skills and knowledge.

This is an annual 3hr refresher course and, although not mandatory, these courses help maintain your basic skills and keep you  up to date with any changes to first-aid procedures.

This course is aimed at people holding a current first aid certificate however this also the perfect  introduction to anyone wishing to learn how to stabilise an unconscious casualty, perform CPR and use an AED (defibrillator).
