Certificated defibrillator training.
Learn essential life saving skills to carry out CPR & use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). A cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time and the rate of survival falls by about 10% for every minute that passes without defibrillation.
This course provides hands-on, practical training to give you the confidence to perform effective CPR and use a defibrillator in the workplace or community setting.
Course content
Core first aid training covers the essential skills required to assess & treat a casualty who is unconscious, stopped breathing and having a suspected cardiac arrest. This includes the basic skills needed to ‘hold the fort’ until Paramedic help arrives.
