The First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) was founded after the withdrawal of the first aid training approval system from the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) in October 2013. joint approvals unit for periodic TRAINING (jaupt)

JAUPT manage the application and quality assurance of centres and courses delivering periodic training on behalf of the DVSA in Great Britain and the DVA in Northern Ireland.
